Re-lived the Teej Festival in an even better way!

Last year, due to covid protocols, my family and I did not play any part in attending and celebrating any festival gathering as we used to. With the improvement in the situation, this year all the women in our family thought of reuniting to celebrate our monsoon festival Teej. Excluding the last year, we used to have a lot of fun on Teej and this time our idea was to do something even grand and worth remembering without compromising on our safety. 

We started planning for it about a week before and kept nothing for the end moment. Talking about how we celebrate, we get all dressed up in green and have a small dance and chanting session with putting Mehendi on our hands, and according to the ritual we keep fast for the day. We also have small acts focused on representing the importance of celebrating the teej festival for inculcating knowledge about the same.
